Benefits and statement credits API

Starter plan and aboveBenefits, statement credits and perks come with Starter and above, on the card object and from these endpoints.

Three lists describe what a card gives beyond its earn rates. benefits are protections and insurance (trip delay, rental car cover, purchase protection); when the issuer's terms give them, details holds structured coverage terms such as coverage_amount, minimum_delay_hours or covered_reasons. statement_credits are the dollar credits (dining, airline fees, streaming) with their amount and how often they renew. card_perks are status and access perks: hotel and rental-car status, lounge access, travel credits.

All three are on GET /v1/cards/:slug for Starter keys and above, and the credits and perks also have their own endpoints.

GET `/v1/cards/:slug/credits`: List a card's statement credits Starter plan and above

Statement credits for one card (dining, Uber, airline fee, streaming and so on), largest first.

GET `/v1/cards/:slug/perks`: List a card's perks Starter plan and above

Companion perks for one card: hotel and rental-car status, travel credits, lounge access and similar.

Benefit types

trip_cancellation_insurance
Trip cancellation and interruption cover.
trip_delay_insurance
Trip delay reimbursement, often after a minimum delay.
baggage_delay_insurance
Essentials bought while checked bags are delayed.
lost_baggage_insurance
Lost or damaged checked and carry-on bags.
travel_accident_insurance
Accident cover on trips paid with the card.
rental_car_cdw
Rental car collision damage waiver, primary or secondary.
cell_phone_protection
Phone damage and theft when the bill is paid with the card.
purchase_protection
Damage and theft of new purchases for a set window.
extended_warranty
Extra months on a manufacturer's warranty.
return_protection
Refunds when a store won't take an item back.
network_tier
The Visa or Mastercard tier's own benefits.
